Chance The Rapper and Solange Knowles are the two superstars on the cover of the latest edition of Teen Vogue magazine.

The artistes gave very conscious interviews to the magazine. Chance spoke to  Get Out writer-director Jordan Peele, revealing he put out Coloring Book for other independent acts out there.

About the album, Chance said “[I] knew that I wanted it to be a beacon for independent artists and music makers with their own agenda.”

Solange, on her part, wrote a letter to her teenage self — a letter which turned out to be a very inspirational and motivational piece.

“But most importantly, there will be you. A whole, whole lot of it. And you will feel good about who she is and who she is still becoming,” she wrote in the letter.

Check both their covers out below.

We asked our Volume II: MUSIC ISSUE cover star SOLANGE KNOWLES to write an open letter to her teenage self—the result is this moving, must-read essay about growing into her womanhood, feeling pride in her blackness, and owning every part of her journey. Here’s an excerpt: “There will be pain, there will be doubt, there will be beauty, there will be the unknown. There will be so many moments of joy and delight that the whole universe will feel painted in hues of amber and wonder. There will be times you are so sad you can’t lift your head. And there will be times you are so happy that the sensation of life knocks you down. But most importantly, there will be you. A whole, whole lot of it. And you will feel good about who she is and who she is still becoming.” Tap the link in bio for Solange’s full story, in her own words. ❤️?: @ryanmcginleystudios
