The Ghanaian singer behind the viral One Corner song, Patapaa Amisty recently revealed that he’s yet to profit from the trend.

The song is currently the biggest song in Ghana, and comes with a dance that involves people undulating their bodies against whatever surface they can find.

It’s become viral on social media around the world, with thousands of videos on social media of people participating in the One Corner challenge.

Despite the song’s apparent success though, it’s yet to reflect on Patapaa, who says he’s still broke.

In a recent interview with a Ghanaian radio station, he was quoted as saying: “Oh boss what I can say is that, I’m really content with how far my song has traveled but I can sincerely say that I can’t boast of GH¢1000 in my pocket from this hard work.”
