Teyana Taylor is one of the best damn performers alive, and she reminded us with a series of amazing performances at the New York Fashion Show.

She burst into the scene in the video for Kanye West’s Fade, and she took those moves to the run way as she wowed the crowd at the annual showpiece.

On Friday, she first modeled for Italian streetwear brand GCDS, bringing a lot of swagger and style to the runway.

“When I watched the video I was like, ‘Damn, I’m so extra,” Taylor told USA Today after the show. “But then I realized I’m not extra, I’m spicy, that’s all. I’m just spicy, I put a little spice in everybody’s life.”

“It’s so crazy, because I was like, ‘I’m short,’ and when I walked out I wasn’t even expecting people to clap,” Taylor explained. “And when everyone went crazy I snatched my glasses off and flipped my hair, and then that became a meme,” she continued. “So I’ve been, like, memed up for the past two days. But it was kinda dope to see that black girl magic, and to put my own ‘umph’ on it.”

Teyana Taylor & Future own Phillip Plein’s show

On Saturday night, Taylor was the final act at Phillip Plein’s Spring 2018 show at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York.

She gave an amazing performance as rapper Future performed his hit song, Mask Off, live.
