There are indications that 25th June, 2017 will be Eid-ul Fitr, with the moon reportedly having been seen in some countries.

The sighting of the moon decides if the holy month of Ramadan will last for only 29 days. If the sighting of the moon is not confirmed, the month will last for 30 days.

In Australia moon has been sighted. The announcement was made by the Grand Mufti of Australia, Dr. Ibrahim Abu Mohammed on his Facebook page.

There are also reports that the moon has been sighted in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and other Asian nations.
