Singer Dammy Krane has released a video statement following his release on bail from a prison in Miami, Florida.

The Amin singer had been arrested days ago on charges of credit card fraud, but secured his release on Wednesday.

In his statement, he reiterated claims made by his elder sister that the fault was purely the show promoter’s, who used fraudulent cards to book his flight.

“First of all I want to thank God and I want to use this medium to apologise to my family, my team and my fans,” he started off.

“I was arrested by the Miami PD for fraud. I do not do fraud, and I do not partake in such activities. The agent booked my flight with fraudulent cards.

“I am sorry I got caught up in this mess. I assure all my fans it will never happen again.

” I want to thank everyone who stood by me in this period. May God continue to bless you and protect you all. Amin.

“And to my parents, I want to thank you for your undying love. Please keep supporting me. I have more music on the way. I promise I will make you proud. I love you so much. Thank you very much.”
