The powers that be at Leicester City have revealed that manager Claudio Ranieri has their full backing, despite the club’s struggles.

Ranieri had guided Leicester City to a very unexpected Premier League title, but has not been able to replicate last season’s heroics for the Foxes.

The club are currently 16th on the table in what is the worst ever defense to a Premier League title, and are only a point above the relegation zone.

There have been rumors that that the club was considering letting the Italian go, but a statement released today by the club showed they are fully behind him.

The statement reads: “In light of recent speculation, Leicester City Football Club would like to make absolutely clear its unwavering support for its First Team Manager, Claudio Ranieri.

“While there is a collective appreciation from everyone at the Club that recent form needs to improve, the unprecedented success achieved in recent seasons has been based firmly on stability, togetherness and determination to overcome even the greatest of challenges.

“The entire Club is and will remain united behind its manager and behind its players, collectively and firmly focused on the challenges ahead.”
