The European Club Association has named Real Madrid as the 2017 European Club of Year.

The Los Blancos capped an amazing season by doing the league and UEFA Champions League double, and became the first team ever in the Champions League era to win the trophy back-to-back.

The award was received by Real Madrid’s third vice-president, Pedro López Jiménez. 

Real Madrid superstar and Portuguese captain, Cristiano Ronaldo was recently named UEFA Player of the Season for 2016-2017.
