La Liga defending champions Real Madrid surprisingly lost to Girona as their title defense took another hit.
They threw away the lead by conceding two goals in quick succession and falling eight points behind the leaders Barcelona.
Spain midfielder Isco tapped in a rebounded shot from Cristiano Ronaldo to open the scoring in the 12th minute.
The home side struck the woodwork twice before the break but rallied in the second half and Uruguay international Christian Stuani and Portu fired them to a huge victory.

Real are third in the standings on 20 points, four behind second-placed Valencia while unbeaten leaders Barcelona have 28.
Real Madrid have never won the league when trailing the summit by 8 points, though manager Zinedine Zidane remains confident.
He stated: “We know we can turn this around. We will have better days and the other teams will drop points too over the season.
“We lost three points unexpectedly [but] we want to win La Liga, it is our day-to-day.”
