UFC president Dana White has revealed that financial negotiations have not even begun over the potential Conor McGregor vs Floyd Mayweather Jr. fight.

“We haven’t even got there (financial discussions) yet,” White said at an appearance before a New York Mets game earlier this month.

“We haven’t even talked percentages yet. Floyd can think whatever, but the machine that the UFC has and Conor McGregor alone is a machine by himself. I think that 50-50 is pretty fair.”

McGregor has been absent from the octagon for months now to welcome and take care of his first child, who was born in May.

He’s however ready for the fight, which White expects will be huge.

“I think this thing does, conservatively, between 2.5 and 4 million (pay-per-view) buys,” he added.

“Other people think more. And this thing will kill it globally. Conor McGregor and the UFC are huge in Brazil, huge in Australia, massive in the UK and other parts of Europe.”
