Legendary footballer Zlatan Ibrahimovic has revealed that he may take on the big screen when he hangs up his boots.

It has been widely reported in the media that the Manchester United striker could be headed to the MLS to play for the Los Angeles Galaxy.

But in a recent interview with BT Sport, he revealed that one major difference between him and United legend Eric Cantona was that he had never acted in a movie.

Cantona acted in a number of movies after his retirement from football, including Looking For Eric and The Salvation.

“Eric is Eric, Zlatan is Zlatan, so I come with a different package, I come with what I’m able to do,” Ibrahimovic told BT Sport.

“People will remember him for the rest of their lives for what he did here, people will remember me for what I did.

“The only thing he did that I haven’t done – yet – is acting. I’m a little bit curious also to be an actor.

“Something like Bourne Identity, something like that, a secret agent. The new James Bond – why not?!”
