The standard version, meanwhile, will be priced at $59.99 (N21,000).

FIFA 18 will be available to buy on Xbox 360 and PS3 as well as Xbox One, PS4, PC and the new Nintendo Switch.

However, only the Xbox One and the PS4 will have The Journey game mode, because of the other consoles’ inability to handle the heavy processing required by Frostbite.

The Journey was one of our best things about FIFA 17, and we’re glad its returning for FIFA 18.

While The Journey was just a Premier League mode in FIFA 17, it’s looking likely that EA Sports might bring in other leagues to the party.

In terms of new teams, the Chinese Super League sadly didn’t make the cut for FIFA 18. There’s however the addition of the German Third Division.

The demo is expected to be released in mid-September, two weeks before the game’s full release.
