Released during Christmas last year, there had been a rush for the Spectacles, leading Snapchat to order for the production of more. People were waiting in line for the glasses and re-sellers were posting them online for as much as $4,500.

The report also claimed that Snap’s move to buy drone-maker Zero Zero had fallen through, over the company’s $200 million asking price.

The news is a further blow to the company that reported a $2.2 billion loss in Q1 of 2017, and continues to fight off Instagram Stories, its main competition.
