Multiple reports are suggesting that Xiaomi’s latest smartphone, the Mi6, may be coming with a 30-megapixel rear camera.

Xiaomi CEO Lei Ju had previously confirmed that the phone would be launched in April, and it is expected to be launch on April 11 or April 18.

According to a leaked spec sheet of the device, the phone has a 30-megapixel rear camera.

Cameras that heavy are rarely seen in smartphones, with phone cameras hardly ever crossing the 20-megapixel mark. One of such is Sony’s Xperia Z5, which had a 24.8 megapixel sensor.

On the other hand, it could come in the form of a dual camera set up, with 2 15-megapixel cameras.

According to the leaked sheet, the device packs 6GB of RAM, powered by Snapdragon 835. It is also fueled by a 4,000 mAh battery.
