Superstar singer Burna Boy has opened up on his criticism of the artistes announcement for Coachella 2019.

Reacting to the list, which was dropped today, the On The Low singer had told organizers that the font his name was written in was too small, and should be increased.

He had been heavily criticized for the statement, and took to his Instagram stories to clarify himself.

He wrote: “I represent a whole generation of solid African creatives going global. Not the soft, low self esteem Africans with the slave mentality.

“I will grant an interview soon to make myself understood. Nothing I say comes from any place of pride or any sense of “entitlement”.

“It comes from my vision of the future of Africa not just African music.”
