A Hollywood-based Kenyan actor, Owiso Odera has reportedly passed on.
According to reports, 43-year old Odera passed on after collapsing on stage during a rehearsal in Kentucky, USA. Prior to then, he had been in Washington filming a new film, Measure Plus Dido.
“We are devastated by his demise. It is like a bad dream. I haven’t come to terms with the news of his death,” his youngest brother, Peter Oruko was quoted as saying. “This is unbearable.”
“The last time we spoke he insisted that I join him down in Santa Monica to pursue my education.”
Odera’s highest-profile role is as Papa Tunde on fantasy show, The Originals. Cast of the movie confirmed his passing on social media.
