The highly anticipated second season of HBO’s Westworld will be coming in early 2018, actress Evan Rachel Wood has revealed.
Wood, who plays lead character Dolores on the show, answered a fan’s requests for when the show would return with “Spring 2018.”
The first season of Westworld premiered in October 2016, with HBO ordering a second season immediately.
The show’s runners, Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy intentionally delayed the second season so they could match up to the standards set by the first.
The show is seen as HBO’s successor to legendary show Game Of Thrones, which is expected to wrap up in 2019. It’s first season earned 22 Emmy nominations.
