The 50 Hottest Nigerian Songs Of 2017: 40 – 31

So, moving on…

30. Illbliss – Can’t Hear You remix feat. Runtown: Off the success of Mad Over You, IllBliss quickly grabbed Runtown for a feature featuring an almost exact hook, and it still banged.

29. Falz – Something Light feat. YCee: Maybe the best rap collaboration of the year, Falz and YCee brought out the big guns on this one.

28. Niniola – Maradona: Niniola and her afro-house music were one of the more beautiful revelations of 2017, and Maradona was one of her biggest hits.

27. Falz – La Fete: My favorite Falz song of the year, La Fete is the biggest hit off Falz’s 27 album, and rightly so.

26. Davido – FIA: Davido rounded up his amazing year with two singles, FIA and Like Dat. While Like Dat didn’t move much, FIA was straight up FIA.

25. P-Square – Nobody Ugly: While 2017 will be remembered for the final end of P-Square, at least they still dropped hits like Nobody Ugly before they called time on their career.

24. Tiwa Savage – All Over: Produced by Mavin’s in-house producer Baby Fresh, Tiwa Savage scored a rare club-hit with this song.

23. 9ice – Living Things: Although very controversial, 9ice’s Living Things was undoubtedly a massive hit in 2017. And a remix with Davido made sure it stayed that way all year round.

22. Falz – Wehdone Sir: Falz started out 2017 with the release of some singles, with the socially-conscious Wehdone Sir and its dance an instant favorite.

21. Davido – Pere feat. Young Thug & Rae Sremmurd: Davido picked up a couple of international stars for Pere, and while the song had its fair share of criticism, it still got a lot of airplay.
