A suicide note written by late NFL star Aaron Hernandez to his fiance has been released by authorities. Read it here!
The former New England Patriots tight end committed suicide on the 19th of April, and left behind three handwritten suicide letters.
One of the notes was written to his fiancee, Shayanna Jenkins.
“You have always been my soul-mate and I want you to live life and know I’m always with you,” Hernandez’s note to her begins.
“I told you what was coming indirectly!” he writes. “I love you so much and know you are an angel — eternally! We split into two to come change the world!”
“Your characteristics is that of a true angel and the definition of God’s love!” the note continues. “Tell my story fully but never think anything besides how much I love you.”
“This was the Supremes, the Almighty’s plan, not mine!” Hernandez writes. “I love you. Let [redacted] know how much I love her. Look after [redacted] and [redacted] for me — those are my boys.”
Hernandez’s suicide came just 5 days after he was acquitted for a double murder in Boston in 2012.
He was however also serving a life sentence at the Souza-Barnowski Correctional Center for the murder of Jenkins’ sister’s boyfriend, Odin Lloyd,
