The Tinapa Business & Leisure Resort and the Marina Resort in Calabar, Cross River state, have been shut down by the Federal Inland Revenue Service.

According to Vanguard, the closure, which started on Tuesday, is over alleged non-payment of tax by both organisations.

FIRS officials entered the premises of the business resorts with heavily armed security men and sealed off their main offices.
