Atiku Abubakar confirms return to PDP

Former Nigerian vice-president Atiku Abubakar has announced his much speculated move back to the People’s Democratic Party.

Speaking live on his Facebook page, Atiku says that he knows that employment is the biggest problem facing the youths. He adds that he knows how to solve it.

He claims to have created over 300,000 jobs in his native Adamawa state.

He opens up on his decision to leave the PDP four years ago. He say he felt the party “was no longer aligned to the principles of equity, democracy and social justice.”

Atiku stated that he had been “excited” by the All Progressives Congress’ mandate of change. Their failures to deliver had  however led him to return to the PDP.

He then held an interactive session, answering questions from followers on his page.
