An Engineering lecturer in the Akwa Ibom State University recently gave his students a marathon 10-hour lecture.
The lecture started at 9am in the morning, and ended around 7pm, with a 1-hour break in between.
The course was Process Control in Chemical Engineering, and according to the student who shared the report, the lecturer was trying to make up time that had been lost due to the recent ASUU strike.
But is it the longest class ever? Far from it.
The record for the longest class ever belongs to Indian lecturer Arvind Mishra, who lectured on Computational Systems for over 139 hours between 1st March and 6th March, 2014. Wow!
