Lebanon has announced an official ban on Warner Bros.’ latest DC Universe movie, Wonder Woman.
The reason for the ban is said to be the movie’s Israeli star, Gal Gadot.

The country is officially at war with Israel and has a law that boycotts Israeli products. It also bars Lebanese citizens from travelling or having contact with Israeli citizens.
It’s the first of Gadot’s movies to face such a ban. Fast and the Furious and Batman vs Superman did not face such bans.
The group Campaign to Boycott Supporters of Israel-Lebanon has praised the ministry’s call. The group had launched a campaign to boycott the film.
This is due to the fact Gadot served in the Israeli army and also expressed support for Israeli forces as the country led a military offensive against Gaza.
