Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has joined the criticism of Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr for playing Mikel Obi at the 10 position.
Mourinho worked with Obi at Chelsea, and believed that he should not have been played in front of Oghenekaro Etebo and Wilfried Ndidi.
“Mikel is not a No 10, he is a No 6,” Mourinho stated.
He also revealed that he was disappointed in the Eagles, who he had tipped to qualify from group D alongside Argentina.
“I was disappointed with Nigeria against Croatia, who now look better placed to qualify from this group,” Mourinho added.
