Everton shocked Pep Guardiola and his Manchester City team with a thumping 4-0 win at Goodison Park.

While it’s certainly a memorable day for the fans, its an unforgettable day for the club’s new signing, Ademola Lookman.

Lookman joined the Toffees in a £7.5 million deal from Charlton earlier this month, and celebrated his debut by scoring Everton’s last goal with his first shot of the game.

“The gaffer just said ‘play behind Rom’. I was lucky to anticipate the ball and put it in the back of the net,” he said after the game.

“My first premier league goal, this is my chance to score it – and I took it well,” he added.

While the Everton fans will already be loving the Nigerian striker, he doesn’t plan to remain at Merseyside forever.

In an interview before the game, Lookman had revealed he wanted to play and win for the biggest clubs in the world, including Real Madrid, Barcelona & Manchester United.

“One day I want to win trophies. Of course I want to play at the highest level – whether it be in England or Spain, I want to be at the top,” Lookman told The Sun.

“You have teams like Barcelona and Real Madrid. As a kid, I dreamed of playing for one of those teams and I suppose Manchester United.”

Careful, Lookman. Take a look at Dimitri Payet before you openly declare you want to leave.
