Former England and Chelsea captain John Terry is set to join Aston Villa, after reportedly signing a one-year deal.
Terry joins the club as a player, and will be helping the Villains as they seek promotion back to England’s elite league.

The deal is reportedly one of the most lucrative Championship deals ever, with Terry set to earn £4m if Villa secure a return to the Premier League.
A number of Premier League teams, including West Bromwich Albion, Swansea and Bournemouth, were reportedly interested in Terry, but he chose to avoid playing against Chelsea.
