Chelsea winger Eden Hazard has maintained that he is happy at the club, despite constant transfer rumors linking him to Real Madrid.
The 26-year old Belgian has previously spoken of his admiration for Zinedine Zidane’s side, though he admits that its just that.
“I am always very fine at this club. I still have two years of contract [left]. When I feel the desire to leave, I’ll leave. But, for now, I’m a Blue,” he told Canal+.
“We know the admiration that I have for Real, but I’m at Chelsea. Every year, things were said about me but I stayed.
“In Lille, I was announced in Paris, but I stayed. And in Chelsea, people always said that I’m leaving, but I’m still here.”
He was sensational in Chelsea’s 4-0 win at Qarabag, drawing praise from legends Steven Gerrard and Rio Ferdinand.
Speaking to BT Sport after the win, former Liverpool and England midfielder Gerrard said of Hazard: “He’s got everything.
“He scores goals, he creates goals, he’s got vision, speed, he’s direct but his awareness for that little backheel tonight was sensational. That was a little bit of world class in him right there.”
Manchester United legend Ferdinand, meanwhile, added: “He’s definitely world class. He’s the reason that Chelsea were winning the league.”
