New Everton manager Marco Silva got off to the best start ever as his side went rampaging on Austrian club ATV Irdning in a pre-season friendly.

Silva’s boys set a new club record by scoring 22 goals in the game. Kevin Mirallas, Cenk Tosun, and Oumar Niasse combined for 13 of the goals.

The score was 10-0 at the half, and the Toffees (for some reason) came out for the second half with renewed vigor.

Silva’s side even had two goals ruled out for offside, Niasse and Tisun denied, and one for an adjudged foul from Michael Keane.

Everton return to the UK to face Bury on Wednesday, and will certainly be prepared for a much more sterner test.
