Real Madrid manager Julen Lopetegui has said he’s very sad to have been dismissed from his role as Spain manager.

Lopetegui was dismissed by Spain FA boss Luis Rubiales following Real Madrid’s announcement that he would be taking over after the World Cup.

Rubiales claimed that the decision was based on Lopetegui’s unprofessionalism, with the RFEF finding out only 5 minutes to Real Madrid’s announcement.
