Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum has reportedly signed an endorsement deal with Adidas, said to be the first of its kind.
According to De Telegraaf, the Holland international put pen to paper on the agreement in Amsterdam this week.
Wijnaldum is currently on €105,000-a-week at Liverpool and his deal with Adidas is said to be the most lucrative in Dutch football history.
The midfielder’s agent, Humphrey Nijman, said: “The negotiations have lasted a year and a half, this is an unprecedented big contract.
“For a Dutch footballer, this is something never before experienced.”
26-year old Wijnaldum joined Liverpool last summer from Newcastle, scoring 6 goals in 42 appearances across all competitions for the Reds.
