The Nigerian Football Federation is said to be considering European giants France and Germany as pre-World Cup friendly opponents.

The Super Eagles kicked off their World Cup preparations with a 4-2 victory of South American giants Argentina in Russia, where the 2018 World Cup will be held.

“France and Germany are the two countries Nigeria are considering to play as part of the build-up for next year’s World Cup,” an NFF official was quoted as saying by SCORE Nigeria.

“The France game appears the more realistic, but all will be known after the World Cup draw especially if they are not in our group in Russia.”

The Super Eagles’ friendlies will be officially announced after the World Cup group stage draws on the 1st of December.
