Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has revealed his desire to return to Spain to end his career.
After spending four years at Barcelona and three with Bayern Munich, Guardiola is looking to build a dynasty at City.
The Spaniard oversaw a record-breaking Premier League win last season, and will hope to emulate that success in Europe to add to his two Champions League trophies.
He sees his long-term future at City but, at the age of 47, does not want to end his career at the Etihad Stadium.
Instead, he wants to return to where it all began: Barcelona B, who he managed for one year before taking the Barca first-team reins.
“My teams are going to try to play how I want,” he told Universo Valdano.
“I will finish where I started; my final steps will be with youth teams. I hope at Barça. I believe it’s – to start, it’s the best.”
