Sportswear makers Puma have released a new set of football boots, with Sergio Aguero and Antoine Griezmann getting first dibs.
Manchester City striker Aguero will debut the boots when City face Chelsea in the English Premier League on Wednesday.
The boot is designed to enhance a player’s acceleration and speed, and its super-thin microfiber upper reduces any unnecessary on-pitch weight.
Atletico Madrid’s Griezmann, Borussia Dortmund’s Marco Reus and Arsenal’s Hector Bellerin will all be wearing the new boot.
Puma also released the EvoPOWER boots, which will be worn by Arsenal’s Olivier Giroud, Nice’s Mario Balotelli, and Dortmund stars Marc Bartra and Julian Weigl.
The evoPOWER boots are designed to enhance a player’s power and precision with the help of AccuFoam 3D PU dots across the upper and a one-way stretchable ADAP-LITE upper support cage that mimics the motion of barefoot kicking.
