Sergio Ramos shuts down rumored Cristiano Ronaldo beef

Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos has denied reports of a rift between himself and star player Cristiano Ronaldo.

The two have been rumored to be at odds stemming from Ronaldo’s anger at the club’s transfer policy.

Players like Pepe, Fabio Coentrao and James Rodriguez left the club over the summer, with Ronaldo seemingly upset at the lack of quality replacements.

Ramos is also rumored to support a reported for Paris St. Germain’s Neymar, speculation which hasn’t gone down well with the legendary Portuguese scorer.

Madrid’s captain has, however, rubbished any talk of a feud and maintains that both men are “pulling in the same direction”.

Ramos told TVE: “Nothing has ever happened between him and me. There has always been a great friendship between us.

“We have a lot of personality and have some different opinions, but we’re pulling in the same direction.”
