Samsung has announced a February launch date for its eagerly anticipated device, the Galaxy S9.

The Korean company announced that it would unveil the device at the 2018 Mobile World Congress, which holds between the 26th of February and the 1st of March.

Speaking during a press event at the ongoing Consumer Electronics Show, Samsung’s mobile boss DJ Koh said that the handset at the trade show in February with the sales date also to announced at the event.

The Galaxy S9 is rumored to be offered in two versions – one with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, and the other with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. The Galaxy S9 Plus will be offered with 6GB RAM as standard and will be made available with a choice of 64GB, 128GB or 256GB storage.

It’s expected to look just like its predecessor, with the repositioned finger print sensor the only major design change.
