Samsung has finally released a beta version of Bixby Voice for English users, and its looking to be very promising.
Bixby is Samsung’s own mobile artificial intelligence assistant, its answer to Google’s Assistant and Apple’s Siri.
In a video by Verge, Bixby – which is still in the beta stage – fails in some pretty basic tasks, things which Samsung will have to work on.
One of Bixby’s unique features is its ability to interact with apps, the ability to carry out multi-step commands. For example, You can tell Bixby to “Open Facebook and show me my notifications” and it will do just that.
Multi-step commands aren’t available for all 3rd party apps yet, and it will be interesting to see how much Bixby has improved by the full roll out.
