With Samsung getting ready to launch its Galaxy S8 and S8 Edge smartphones on the 29th of March, an official-looking photo of the phone has surfaced.
The photo was leaked by insider Evan Bass, and confirms reports that Samsung carried out a massive design upgrade.
The most obvious change is the removal of the physical home button, and the subsequently much smaller bezels. There’s also iris scanner located above the screen, as well as a dedicated AI button.
Samsung didn’t go Apple’s way earphone-jack wise, and the 3.5mm earphone jack will remain on both devices.
The S8 has a 5.8-inch display, and the S8 Edge has 6.2-inch display. Both screens are reportedly quad HD+ Super AMOLED.
The phones are as powerful as they are beautiful, running on 4GB of RAM and Qualcomm’s Snapdragron 835 chip.
Samsung had teased the devices at the 2017 Mobile World Congress, and the full launch will occur later this month.
